ARIX was established in 1969, when Silvio Ballasini, convinced of the potential offered by the Italian market, decided to capitalise on decades of experience in the business of polyurethane sponges and synthetic leathers imported from Germany. At Viadana, at the Southwest end of the province of Mantua, in a manufacturing district historically linked to the sector of articles for household and professional cleaning, ARIX took its first steps as a small converter dedicated to processing, packaging and marketing with their own brand of synthetic sponges, sponge cloths, floor cloths, cloths in TNT and synthetic leather.
Over the following decades, foresight and business sense have guided the phenomenal growth of ARIX business.
New products, first of all abrasive fibres and plastic moulding to manufacture cleaning tools, and the consequent investment in research and development have made possible complete control of the production chain in the major business sectors.
The launch of new products and new brands, the acquisition of major sector competitors such Brozzi Srl and Tonkita and their respective brands, enabled identifying a more complete and articulated assortment to respond with practical and effective solutions to old and new needs for house cleaning and care, even the most specific ones.
An articulated sales network, joint-ventures and exclusive agreements with major distribution companies abroad, have further supported the growth of the brand and its appreciation by the public, ensuring that ARIX brand products were an increasingly common fixture on the shelves of traditional shops and supermarkets, in Italy and abroad.
The installation of new plants in Italy and abroad and commercially important acquisitions in strategic areas, contribute today to further delineate ARIX's industrial profile, which consolidates them as market leaders and looks beyond known horizons, because all around the world ARIX is known as the home helper.
