Cellulose is an organic compost very spread in nature. If cotton and linen, made of almost pure cellulose, are mainly used as textile fibre, the cellulose that is in some plants is used for making artificial fibres (rayon) but mostly for production of paper. The wood used for the cellulose ifs often poplar, or fir. Less often different types of wood are used. Much appreciated for the high absorbing capacity, cellulose is often enriched with cotton fibres and used for production of sponges dedicated to the house, professional and personal cleaning.
